VYASNA is an original music and visual project at the intersection of Slavic fantasy, dark fairy tales, neofolk, modern music and cinematic aesthetics. It was born from the desire to create not simply songs, but an entire world with heroes, legends, rituals, forests, rivers, ancient gods, the mist of Nav and living human emotions.
The idea behind VYASNA grew from a wish to return to the Russian cultural code as something alive, deep and many-sided rather than museum-like or frozen. This world has space for lyric beauty and dark fairy tales, ancient fears and feminine strength, ancestral memory and large personal feelings.
The mission of VYASNA is to show that Russian culture can be modern, powerful, beautiful and interesting to people around the world. The project is not political or ideological: culture here means beauty, memory, myth, music, image and feeling.
VYASNA is developing as a universe where music, videos, characters, illustrations and the series become parts of one larger story. The aim is to build a living world to return to: a world where darkness is not always evil, light is not always simple, and a fairy tale speaks about something real.
